We rented 2 scooters with the “Cavadinis” heading south to Ninh Binh (90 km in the heat…), since we decided that Perfume Pagoda was way too touristy and we got a great tip to just drive down to this other place.
We got slightly delayed by a little monsoon right before leaving, here is Daniele having fun with a local baby.
Look in the mirror… and this wasn’t even on purpose!
We had a flat tire, but we were able to ask for help and fix it. Finally we get to Ninh Binh, here is our “Caronte”, driving the boat around the river.
“Caronte” was talking and talking…but who knows what he was saying…
On our way back we took a little detour around small villages. We arrived home after 9, (at 7pm is already dark) but it was sooooo worth it.
