Unfortunately Roselyn is not feeling great this morning. We still have some hours left in Siem Reap, since our flight is at 6pm, and a payed ticked to go inside the site again…decision decision, we went back!
We decided to stop a second time to Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Ta Prohm and we realized we missed so many things on our first visit, that this third day was so worth it.
We started with the Bayon temple in Angkor Thom:
Silvia showing some attitude…
Elephants!
Then we went up to the top of Baphuon Palace in Angkor Thom
We gave a better look to the Elephant Terrace (we missed the Elephants the first time… whooops)
Again to Ta Prohm following Lara Croft’s Steps…
And last but not least Angkor Wat. Here are the incredible bas-reliefs representing the “Churning of the Ocean of Milk”
It’s almost 2pm and there is still some time for a Christmas lunch in Siem Reap.
Why not trying some Cambodian BBQ? Happy Daniele!

Snakes and Crocodile…yummy! The Snake was pink like a salmon but the flavor was more like a delicate pork. The crocodile was my favorite, pretty much like a light sausage!
Here is the whole group on our way back to Hanoi.
We could’t miss a photo with our driver Run and his Tuk Tuk
The last Pic is for Harvey:
I think those tree guys are probably major figures in the cambodian politics,
but for us they are “the Stooges”. No offense!
Goodbye Cambodia! Thank you.
