The beach in Marzamemi
Our house is literally 3 minutes walking (bare feet…) from the beach, this beach. We are staying just north of Marzamemi, in the frazione Fondo Morte (death bottom), Not sure why such a macabre name. We can easily go to the town walking by the shore, which makes our night strolls very funny for Luca: […]
Noto
Noto: what a beauty Noto (Sicilian: Notu; Latin: Netum) is a city in the Province of Syracuse, Sicily, Italy. It is 32 kilometres (20 mi) southwest of the city of Syracuse at the foot of the Iblean Mountains. It lends its name to the surrounding area Val di Noto. In 2002 Noto and its church were declared a UNESCO World […]
Marzamemi by Night
Tonight we go out all together for dinner: renzo, Kris, Giusy, Maurizio and the Tavuzzis. We picked a traditional food restaurant called Spizzuliu, a Sicilian Bistro right behind the main square in a small enclosed “piazzetta”. delicious! After eating we are entertained by local kids and live music in the piazza.

Last day in Sayulita
After another day at the beach in Playa de Los Muertos, walking home Luca finally had the revelation that white rice is NOT the only think he could eat. Grilled Mahi Mahi on a stick, yeah! Double fisting… At night we went out and, at least me and Daniele wanted to taste the local Michelada. Last […]
Ally Cat Boat Trip
On Tuesday we booked a boat trip with Allycat sailing adventures, open bar, food, fishing, snorkeling, and visit to the Islas Marietas. Half of the boat (we are 40) is from Fort Collins or Greeley, or Longmont…can you believe that?? We started in the worst possible way, because Luca dropped one of his car in […]
La Cruz de Huanacaxtle
It is Sunday and our house keeper Omar suggested us to go to La Cruz for their Mercado del Mar (Fish Market). We got a Taxi with Rafael, our driver and went back towards Puerto Vallarta to what is also called La Marina. The place is full of Californians in their 60-70s, even the band […]
